1863 BLACK LIVES MATTER

29.50

The year is 1863. Slavery is abolished by the Dutch. A milestone achieved. But there was still a long way to go..

Slavery started centuries ago, way before there were transatlantic slaves. In Eastern Africa, India, and Europe unimaginable atrocities took place from the 7th until the 20th century. The Dutch, French, Spanish, Portuguese, British and a number of West African kingdoms played a prominent role in the Atlantic slave trade, especially after 1600. A human tragedy on a global scale that must be remembered.

Slavery unfortunately still is amongst us. Enslavement no longer revolves around legal ownership, but around illegal control. Qatar, China, Iran, just to name a few. How can one think, treating another human as an object, is normal? Imagine a member of your own family being beaten, raped, or put in a working camp. We choose not to remain silent. We choose to #UNITE as a human species.

The BLM movement matters. Black people all over the world still have to deal with being treated different. People say: all lives matter. Of course they do. But if you’re white, you don’t experience the same issues as black or foreign people.

Our motto is: GET READY FOR UNITY. Let’s be friendlier to one another and end slavery worldwide. Heal the world in unity. Join us. #UNITEDWEARE
